El Dorado Elementary School

Philosophy: I believe every child is musical and capable of growth. Through active music-making, movement, singing, playing instruments, creating, and reflecting, students develop musical literacy, confidence, creativity, and collaboration skills. My classroom is a safe and inclusive space where mistakes are welcomed as part of learning, student voices are valued, and every learner has opportunities to succeed. Using Orff, Kodály, and Dalcroze approaches, I strive to create joyful musical experiences that help students become not only musicians, but also leaders, problem-solvers, and compassionate members of their community.
