Dear El Dorado Students, Families, and Staff,

 

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! As your new Principal, I am deeply honored to join the El Dorado Elementary family and embark on this journey of learning, growth, and achievement alongside our dedicated staff, curious students, and supportive community.

 

I bring 28 years of educational experience to El Dorado, along with a deep passion for student success. Outside of school, I enjoy quality family time, spending time outdoors, and watching football. Over the years, I have also had the privilege of coaching cheer and Students Run LA. As a lifelong learner with a growth mindset, I believe deeply in the power of strong school-family partnerships to help every child reach their full potential.

 

I am also delighted to welcome our new Assistant Principal, Andy Banahan, to the El Dorado family. Together as a leadership team, we share a deep commitment to supporting our teachers, connecting with our families, and ensuring every student thrives.

 

This year, we are placing a renewed energy on honoring El Dorado’s rich tradition of excellence. Together, our team is dedicated to re-energizing our learning environment so that ALL students receive a rigorous education and the supportive foundation required for success in the 21st century and beyond.
